WPD™, formerly Western Pump & Dredge, was founded by Jack Hays in 1992. Initially the company provided high volume mud and sludge pumping services with heavy duty hydraulic powered dredge pumps. By 1996 WPD™ had grown to expand its services to include water transfer pumps. In 2003 Mr. Hays realized the need for a company that specializes in developing new and innovate methods of water transfer and water management; largely as a result of multi-well pads and the requirement to recycle Frac water for Oil and Gas E&P operations.

We strive to manage a business recognized for its innovative solutions, safety, quality equipment, and exceptional service. These elements, combined with a commitment to meeting our customers' individual needs, has allowed WPD™ to grow from a partnership to a team of over 400 members, with branches in Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania.

We have assembled a group of competent, skilled personnel that specialize in water pumping, filtration, Frac Support , and pipeline design installation and operation. Our goal is to be recognized for being the best at doing what we do, turn-key Field Water Management™ systems.
