Western Pump & Dredge customizes and installs fully engineered pit evaporation systems with automated controls. For oil-field evaporation pits, we offer several wastewater evaporators that are easily mobilized and capable of evaporating up to 3,000 bbls per day. Floating evaporator that offers increased run time allowed by in-pond location. The Apex can continue to evaporate in large wind gusts and is ideal for use in areas where wind is a factor. Designed for use in larger evaporation ponds or areas where overspray is less of a concern. Higher wind speeds produces a larger spray pattern which allows longer float times, thus allowing greater evaporation rates. A variation of the popular Landshark with a lower regulated flow rate. Floating evaporation system uniquely suited for smaller pits such as ponds with produced, FRAC, or other on-site wastewater.

All of our evaporation systems can be equipped with an optional PLC controlled Automated Wind Speed & Direction Control System. This system allows for site programming of wind speed parameters to automatically start up and shut down the pump and generator (if applicable) at pre-set wind speeds.  This allows the user more control over mist remaining inside the pit, enabling your system to operate longer and evaporate more water.
